Vermont Gas has announced that it is now serving Franklin Foods with natural gas. Vermon Gas is adding 14 miles of natural gas distribution pipeline that will provide a more affordable, cleaner and safe energy option fo 490 residential and 110 commercial customers in the Village of Enosburg.

Franklin Foods, Inc. has been issued its tenth patent from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) for Yogurt Cheese Products. Patent number 8,518,463 has been issued to inventors Jon Gutknecht and John Ovitt. The timeliness of the tenth patent approval for Cream Cheese Products correlates with a growing demand within institutional channels for lowfat ingredients to help reduce the fat, calories and cholesterol in mainstream consumer packaged goods.
