According to the American Dietetic Association, trends continue to indicate Americans are interested in improving their diets and leading more healthful lifestyles, the American Dietetic Association reminds everyone that an easy way to focus on eating better is to “Eat Right with Color,” which is this year’s theme of National Nutrition Month®. Each March, ADA focuses attention on returning to the basics of healthy eating. This year’s National Nutrition Month theme encourages consumers to remember to include a colorful variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy on their plates every day. After several months of planning and preparation Franklin Foods is ready to take our “Re-Inventing Cream Cheese” mission out for a spin at the 2009 PLMA Trade Show this weekend in Chicago! We will be sampling our decadent cream cheese products in a wide variety of sizes that are ready to fill retailer dairy cases from coast to coast. The show floor is packed with vendors and products from all around the world and everyone is expecting a great turnout.
Also, our patent approved Yogurt & Cream Cheese entry has been accepted and will be displayed in a special section called the “Idea Supermarket”…surrounded by a variety of innovative and cutting edge food products.

Well, “Cream Cheese Season” has officially arrived. That’s what we call the months of September – January around here. Just when the weather starts to change, kids are back in the swing of it at school, and the holidays appear right around the corner. Did I just say holidays? Only 62 days until Thanksgiving!
